Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 3 shifts per week required
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule required
• Holiday scheduling based on unit coverage
• Call shifts vary from 6 to 10 shifts per schedule with a 30-minute response time required
• Level I Trauma facility experience required
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia Exam prior to contract start with a passing score of 80%; two attempts allowed
• Day 1 pass/fail exam and simulation lab required; study guides and videos provided
• SIMs Lab required for Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath insertion; pass/fail format with sterile field competency expected
• RNs will circulate; no scrubbing required
• Handle 10 to 25 cases per day including interventional, EP lab, peripherals, cardiology and vascular cases, mitral clip, TAVR, IABP, and EMTALA placements
• Utilize Cerner and Xper EMR systems as well as Phillips and Siemens equipment
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Arizona RN license required
• BSN not required

Facility:

This acute care facility operates as a Level I Trauma Center with a fully equipped Cath Lab featuring 3 main labs, one EP lab, and one Hybrid lab that handles both vascular and cardiac cases. The facility offers 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory therapy support and maintains a robust cardiac and vascular program. The organization upholds high clinical standards and expects all nursing staff to demonstrate proficiency in core clinical skills.
