Job Details:

• Block schedule required with 1.0 FTE Saturday/Sunday/Monday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM plus two additional 8-hour shifts with variable hours
• Always two consecutive days off each week
• Weekend shifts required Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• On-call required 2 to 4 nights per month
• 48-hour shifts not approved
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Responsible for both CT and radiology exams on night shift due to low volume
• Perform routine CT and radiology-related exams with expected variety of diagnostic imaging
• Interventional radiology cases performed in CT on emergent basis only, typically not on night shift
• Serve patients across all age groups including infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Charting system experience required; Epic charting system used at facility
• Scrub color: any color acceptable; OR/Critical Care/ED/Maternal Child scrubs provided
• No parking fee
• At least 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Required skills include at least one of the following equipment: GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba
• Additional skills required: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Abdomen/Pelvis/Chest/Head imaging with and without contrast, Isolation Precautions/PPE, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, cervical/lumbar/thoracic/musculoskeletal trauma imaging, and neonatal through older adult patient care
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 109 total staff beds and 96 patient beds, providing a full range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The imaging department is staffed with both CT and radiology technologists, with on-call support available during night shifts should additional assistance be required.
