Opportunity:

RRT/CRT - NICU

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• 26-week contract, will accept 13 weeks
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 2 Trauma experience required
• Draeger Vent experience required
• NICU experience preferred but not required
• Level III or IV NICU experience preferred
• Experience with neonatal oscillating vents and high frequency jet vents preferred
• Must hold CRT or RRT license (RRT strongly preferred) plus Connecticut state license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CRT or RRT
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Will float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campus as needed
• Expected to rotate through all areas of the hospital including NICU and Pediatric units based on census and staffing needs
• May be asked to orient students and new hires as needed
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 36 orientation hours required

This short-term acute care hospital operates across multiple campuses and is part of a larger regional health system. With 426 staffed beds and a Level II Trauma Center designation, the facility provides a wide range of critical and specialty care services. The organization supports a diverse patient population spanning neonates through geriatrics and utilizes Epic for clinical documentation.
