Opportunity:

RRT/CRT - NICU

Job Details:

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• 26-week contract with 13-week contracts accepted
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• NICU experience preferred but not required
• Level 2 Trauma experience required
• Draeger Vent experience required
• CRT or RRT licensure required (RRT strongly preferred)
• Connecticut state license required
• Required certifications: BLS and CRT or RRT
• Additional certifications preferred: ACLS, NRP, PALS
• Charting system: Epic experience required
• Will float between two campuses as needed
• Expected to rotate through all areas of the hospital including NICU and Pediatric units based on census and staffing needs
• May be asked to orientate students and new hires as needed
• Experience working with neonatal oscillating vents and high frequency jet vents preferred
• Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Facility:

This short-term acute care hospital features 426 staffed beds and operates as a Level II Trauma Center. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers free parking for staff. As part of a larger health system, this facility provides comprehensive care across multiple campuses and supports a wide range of patient populations including neonatal and pediatric units.
