Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• First to float on assigned shifts
• Average of 2 respiratory therapy treatments per shift depending on census (ranges from 2-4 treatments)
• Approximately 25-30 acuities per shift with assignments based on acuity levels
• Ventilator management required
• Must have pediatric and adult experience; NICU experience preferred but not required
• Treat typical inpatient population requiring respiratory therapy
• Charge RT and Lead Therapist available for support; Lead Therapist on-site 1-2 days per week
• RT coverage available 24/7
• Work into permanent staff holiday schedule
• Black scrubs required
• Charting System: Cerner
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS
• California license required
• Must be a certified Respiratory Therapist

Facility:

This acute care facility provides comprehensive inpatient respiratory therapy services with 24/7 RT coverage to support a diverse patient population. The facility has both hospitalist and intensivist coverage in-house, with on-call availability after hours, ensuring strong clinical support for the care team. Pharmacy services are available in-house until 10:00 PM with 24/7 access through an after-hours auto-verification system and an on-call pharmacist.
