Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights based on unit needs, with scheduling mindful of limiting frequent day/night rotations
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Open to straight days and rotating shifts
• 32-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift
• Primary unit will be 6AB with floating expected to any med/surg unit at any of the 3 medical centers in Fargo
• Perform patient assessments, documentation, nursing tasks, and medication administration
• Utilize Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps
• Minimum 1 year recent med/surg nursing experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds) required
• Minimum 2 years recent med/surg experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Travel experience including successful completion required
• Neuro patient experience preferred but not required
• EPIC experience required
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Active ND or Compact RN License required (willing to obtain)
