Siemens Healthineers is currently seeking candidates for Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist position that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Orlando, FL. This is a travel healthcare contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

  • Modality: Vascular Interventional Radiology
  • Equipment: Siemens Artis Pheno
  • Schedule: M-F (4x10) rotating + call (40 hours weekly)
  • Role: Scrub, Circulate, Pan & Post Process
  • Pay: $3,340 weekly gross (eligible for benefits)

Requirements:
  • Active ARRT certification + FL State radiation license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience within modality
About The Role:
As a Travel Hybrid OR/IR Technologist, you will play a key role in assisting surgeons and interventionalists in advanced, minimally invasive procedures. Working in a high-tech Hybrid OR, you'll support image-guided vascular procedures while ensuring precision and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and cone-beam CT, to assist in minimally invasive surgical and interventional procedures.
  • Assist in complex procedures such as endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), AAA, and other hybrid vascular and cardiac interventions.
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict surgical and radiation safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, interventionalists, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure seamless procedural workflow.
  • Prepare contrast media, monitor patient responses, and document procedural details.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Hybrid OR settings.
  • Certifications:
    • ARRT registered in Radiography (R), Vascular-Interventional (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional (CI) certification is a plus.
    • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Skills: Expertise in advanced imaging equipment, surgical and interventional techniques, critical thinking, and excellent patient care.
