Registered Nurse (RN) - Temporary Assignment

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Must have Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) uploaded with profile (required by state)
• 2 years current Critical Care experience required
• Willingness to float to PCU as needed (floating required)
• Experience with Vent, ICP Monitoring, and Hemodynamic Monitoring required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• TNCC preferred
• BSN preferred
• Must have own vehicle (firm requirement)
• Must upload permanent address with profile (travelers residing within 50 miles of facility will not be considered)
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of submission; no more than 5 days accepted, and requests after submission will not be approved
• Scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; no approvals after offer
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within past 2 years required
• Current work history and skills checklist (pertinent to position, current within 1 year) required
• All licenses and certifications must be uploaded with profile

Certifications Required

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

License Requirements

• Must have Massachusetts RN license in-hand (no pending licenses accepted)

Work Environment & Additional Details

• Unit size: 20 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color
• 8 hours non-billable orientation
• Holiday coverage requires working two of the following holiday periods:

  • Thanksgiving and Friday/weekend after
  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and Friday/weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and Friday/weekend after
• No block scheduling available
• No 48-hour guarantee for this assignment
