Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Key Requirements
- Residency: Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will NOT be considered. A copy of the driver’s license must be included in the submission.
- Experience: Minimum 24 months of current Level I Trauma ICU experience (REQUIRED).
- Certifications:
- Must have active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certifications at time of submission.
- Required certifications include ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA).
- Licensing:
- Active Arizona RN license required at time of submission.
- License verification must be less than 30 days old.
- No license hits allowed.
- Vaccination: Flu vaccination required; declinations can be applied for (vaccination status must be noted in submission).
- Background: Must comply with specific background requirements and attest to compliance immediately.
- Return to Office (RTO):
- RTO requests must be less than 7 days.
- RTO will NOT be approved during the first week of assignment or on holidays.
Submission Requirements
- Fully completed Banner Cover Page including:
- All locations and departments the candidate is willing to work in.
- All shifts the candidate is open to working.
- Resume detailing all facilities worked at, including facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
- Skills checklist specific to the nursing discipline (must be less than one year old).
- Active driver’s license (copy required).
- Candidates should be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment.
- Notify promptly if candidate withdraws or becomes unavailable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.

- Level I Trauma Center with nationally recognized specialty care.
- Academic medical center affiliated with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix.
- Known for expertise in high-risk obstetrics, advanced heart care, lung disease treatment, organ transplantation, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and concussion care.
- Ranked in the top 50 hospitals nationally for specialties including Geriatrics, Nephrology, and Urology.
Additional Notes
- Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start.
- Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
- Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
- Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date.
This position requires strict adherence to all compliance and submission guidelines to be considered.
