Job Description

• Position: Cath Lab RN - Traveler
• On-call availability is required

Required Credentials & Certifications

Must be submitted prior to consideration:

• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• License/Certificate Verification (Primary source verification within 30 days of start)
• Resume
• Two Professional References

Required for Onboarding (must be completed before or at start):

• Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
• Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (minimum score 80%)
• Prime Orientation Packet ("Essentials" form and post-test)
• Education Verification
• Driver's License, State ID, or Passport
• Prime OIG clearance
• Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test, within 60 days of start)
• Color-blind Test (annual, Relias accepted)
• Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
• SAM/EPLS verification
• COVID-19 Vaccine (2 doses plus booster or declination)
• MMR (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer)
• Annual Respirator Fit Test
• Hepatitis B (3 doses or titer)
• Influenza Vaccine or declination (required October 1 - May 31)
• TB Test (within 1 year of start date)
• Varicella (vaccination or immunity titer)
• Tdap (declination not accepted in some locations)
• Physical/Health Statement (annual, must state clear to work)
• Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum score 80%)
• Prime Skills Checklist
• National Criminal Background Check (within 1 year)
• Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification, agency attestation accepted)
• Prime Specialty Exam (minimum score 80%)
• DCI/BVP Certification
• ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• NIHSS Certification

Optional:

• Name Verification Affidavit (if name discrepancies exist)
• Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray (if applicable, must be within 1 year)

Summary

This is a traveling RN Cath Lab position in California requiring on-call availability. The contract length is approximately 13 weeks. Candidates must have current BLS and ACLS certifications, a valid nursing license, and meet a comprehensive set of onboarding requirements including drug screening, immunizations, background checks, and competency exams. Annual health and safety tests such as respirator fit testing and color-blind testing are also required.
