Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week
• Friday: 12pm - 12am
• Saturday & Sunday: 6pm - 6am

Requirements

• IEMA certification required
• Minimum of 1 year CT experience preferred
• Must have current BLS (AHA) certification
• Current license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment
• Completion of Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics) within a year of start, updated yearly
• Completion of required onboarding modules and attestations specific to medical imaging contract workers
• Valid driver’s license or state ID (must not be expired and must meet address requirements)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
• Fit test (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite)
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31), exemptions accepted with mask requirement
• TB screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire
• Proof of two Varicella vaccines or immunity verification (no declinations accepted)
• Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
• Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• 2-step PPD or IGRA testing within required timeframes
• 12-panel drug screen completed within 30 days prior to start, updated annually

Professional Documentation & Verification

• Resume or professional profile submission required
• At least two professional references prior to first assignment
• Criminal background check including SSN trace, employment verification, OIG search, and national sex offender registry within 30 days of assignment
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 90 days of start
• Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start
• Employment verification for the past 7 years
• Confirmation of assignment documentation required upon initial assignment and updates for extensions
• Skills checklist for clinical specialty completed within one year of start and updated annually

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with required certifications and immunizations who are comfortable working weekend night shifts in a travel assignment setting.
