CT Tech Travel Opportunity - Enumclaw, Washington

Position Details

• Specialty: CT Tech
• Location: Enumclaw, Washington
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Department: Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography)
• Shift: 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM, Tuesday through Thursday (Graveyard shift)
• Weekend Requirement: None specified
• Holiday Requirement: Work if holiday falls on your scheduled shift
• Call/Standby: No call required
• Dress Code: Wear scrubs of your choosing

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 2 full years of CT Tech experience
• Active BLS (AHA)
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Must have an active Washington State license
• Ability to start IVs (required if ED IV is not suitable; no RN available in Diagnostic Imaging)

Department & Equipment

• 1 CT scanner (Toshiba 64 Slice CT Scanner)
• 1 X-Ray room (Carestream, user-friendly)
• 1 Portable X-Ray (brand new GE Portable X-Ray)
• Imaging performed includes:

  • CT: With/without contrast for Head, Spine, Abdomen, Pelvis, CTA PE, Runoff, Extremities
  • General X-Ray: Chest, PICC line placement, Tube placement, Trauma - fractures of extremities
• Average scans per night (graveyard shift): 2-6 CT scans and 1-4 X-rays
• Must be able to work independently as the only CT/X-ray tech on site between 11 PM - 7 AM
• Floating/Coverage: CT and General X-Ray

Systems & Software

• EMR: EPIC
• PACS: McKesson PACS

Additional Information

• Radiation badge required (can be provided if absolutely needed)
• Orientation includes EPIC training in Tacoma and one week of on-site training
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) on staff
• Radiologist coverage: In-house Mon, Wed, Fri 8 AM - 5 PM; otherwise teleradiology coverage

This opportunity is ideal for a CT Tech comfortable working independently overnight with strong skills in both CT and general X-ray imaging, including IV starts, in a hospital setting.
