Job Opportunity: CT-XRay Technologist

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views as requested by Physician.
• Complete all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Operate radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment, including mobile units in OR, ER, or bedside.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
• Maintain excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts. Closed-toe shoes required. Hair must be pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no dangling earrings.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days allowed.
• Holiday coverage required for at least one of the following:

  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the following Friday/weekend
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the following Friday/weekend
• Extensions ending in November or before December holidays will not be considered for extension into 2026.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years current CT-XRay Tech experience in a hospital setting (required).
• Proficient/highly experienced with Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm (required).
• Experience with all age groups (required).
• NH MIRT TEMP license easily obtained with equivalent state license for CT/XRay.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Permanent address must be included in profile.
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; no scheduling requests accepted after offer.

Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT Certification
• BLS (AHA) Certification
• New Hampshire License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
