Cath Lab RN Travel Opportunity - Los Angeles, California
Position Overview
- Role: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Los Angeles, California
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Facility Type: Hospital Cath Lab
- Unit: Cath Lab with 2 suites/labs
- Average Cases per Day: 6
- EMR System: Cerner
- Shift: 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities
- On-Call: Every other weekend on-call for RNs; call response time within 30 minutes; approximately 10-15 calls per month; call hours 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Holidays: 1 holiday required to work
- Scrubs Provided
Requirements
- Minimum 2 full years of Cath Lab RN experience
- Active California RN License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, LA Fire Safety Card
- COVID-19 Vaccination Required (with certification)
- Experience with sedating and circulating patients in Cath Lab procedures
- Ability to jump right in with minimal unit-specific orientation
Job Duties
- Sedate and circulate during cases (RNs do not scrub)
- Common cases include Electrophysiology (EP) and Peripheral interventions
Additional Information
- Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology (IR) Techs support the unit and have similar on-call requirements
- Weekend on-call shifts for both RNs and Techs cover Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Call response time for both RNs and Techs is 30 minutes
