Job Opportunity: CT Tech / Radiology/Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts (schedule may change based on manager's needs)
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in specialty (strict requirement)
• Certification Required: ARRT (CT)
• First-time Travelers: Not accepted unless with 3+ years recent experience in this specialty
• Locals: Not accepted (50 mile radius rule applies)
• Pending License: Not accepted; must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
• Block Schedule Accommodation: No (Sun-Wed schedule)

Required Credentials & Compliance

Certifications

• ARRT (CT) certification mandatory
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only (required for certain departments)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only (required for all except some roles)
• Other certifications may be required depending on assignment (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC) but not specifically for this role

Licenses

• State License as applicable
• CT Techs assigned to Tennessee do not require a TN state license, only a national certification
• CT Techs assigned to Mississippi require MS state license

Background Checks & Verifications

• Background check within 60 days of start including statewide, county, federal, and education verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated annually
• Sex Offender Search required
• Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry search (for TN facilities)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet job demands
• Fit mask test (3M N-95) within 1 year, must pass without limitations
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (proof of vaccination or positive titer required)
• Drug test: Negative 10-panel within 30 days of start (no pending compliance allowed)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season

Other Requirements

• Two recent professional references required
• Skills checklist and internal evaluations as applicable
• Photo for badge with strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses glare, no filters)

Additional Notes

• No prior travel experience explicitly required, but first-time travelers must have 3+ years recent specialty experience
• All Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted at time of application
• Strict adherence to dress code and scrub color guidelines depending on role
• Facility-specific documents and questionnaires may be required depending on experience and role
