CT Tech Travel Opportunity - Washington (Federal Way)

Job Details

• Specialty: CT Tech
• Location: Federal Way, Washington
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday through Monday
• Weekend Requirement: No weekend rotation required per contract
• Holiday Requirement: Rotation with permanent staff
• Call/Standby: No set call requirements; per contract only
• Orientation: 1 week of department-specific orientation (approx. 25+ hours)

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience (GE scanner experience required)
• Certifications:

  • Active BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • WA State License (must have at time of application)
  • ARRT (CT) certification required; CT certification preferred but not required
• Additional Requirements:

  • Must provide Radiation badge
  • Preferred to have IV start skills

Work Environment & Duties

• Department Equipment: 2 GE CT scanners (experience with GE required)
• Patient Population: Inpatient (ages 15 and up), outpatient, and ER
• Imaging Studies: General CT studies, approximately 50-60 scans per day
• EMR/PACS Systems: EPIC and McKesson PACS
• Supervision:

  • Monday-Friday supervisor for all shifts
  • Evening Monday-Friday x-ray lead
  • Night shift staffed by one X-ray and one CT tech
• Radiologist Coverage: Radiologist off-site after 5 PM and on weekends
• Dress Code: Any colored professional scrubs allowed

Additional Notes

• Candidate should be a team player and able to function independently
• Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 weeks but expect 25+ hours
• No explicit mention of prior travel experience required
