CT Tech Travel Opportunity - Silverdale, Washington

Position Overview

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience (highest required)
• Active BLS certification required
• ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT (R)) with CT specialty certification (ARRT CT)
• Washington State License required
• Radiation badge required prior to starting assignment
• IV skills very helpful for outpatient work

Job Duties & Work Environment

• Perform all routine CT exams including trauma cases
• Imaging for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department (ED) patients
• Procedures include Cardiac CT, biopsy/drain, Cryo/Microwave ablations
• Average 65-70 scans per 24-hour period across 3 scanners
• Occasional floating to X-ray for ED/Inpatient/Outpatient imaging
• Use of EMR system EPIC and PACS system SECTRA
• Equipment includes 1 GE REV CT and 2 GE REV HD scanners
• Radiologist on site 24/7
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used

Scheduling & Work Hours

• Shifts vary between 10-hour and 12-hour shifts, days and nights
• Schedule assigned and posted at least 2 weeks in advance
• Weekend shifts vary: some every weekend, some every other weekend depending on needs
• Holiday work required if scheduled
• Optional on-call with 45-minute response time

Orientation & Additional Information

• Department-specific orientation typically during first 3 days
• Orientation/education hours not guaranteed during first 2 weeks; expect 25+ hours
• Scrub color flexible as long as professional; hospital scrubs provided only for OR staff
