Job Summary

A hospital in California is seeking an experienced Radiology/CT Tech for a travel contract position.

Required Experience and Certifications

Minimum 2 years of Radiology/CT experience
Active BLS certification
ACLS certification
ARRT (RT) (CT) certification
Fluoroscopy license
RDMS certification
California state license (CRT)
Certified CT preferred

Work Environment and Equipment

Imaging areas include XR, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound (except perinatal)
EMR/Equipment: Cerner, DR PACS, Phillips
Radiology Supervisor on site
Hospitalist or Intensivist available in-house
RT and Pharmacy coverage 24/7

Work Schedule

Shifts: 10 or 12 hour shifts for Radiology/CT
Weekend work may be required depending on need, sometimes all weekends
Holiday work as needed
Night shifts include 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Additional Notes

Fluoroscopy license and BLS are mandatory
Imaging studies performed include all XR and CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine scans, and Ultrasound (except echo and legs); perinatal ultrasound limited to high-risk OB
