Description

Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Travel/Contract

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Work Schedule

  • 4x10 hour shifts, Nights (9 PM - 7:30 AM)
  • Monday through Thursday

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required
  • First-time travelers are welcome

Certifications Required

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT)

Clinical Experience Required

  • Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients required
  • Neonates and Infants experience preferred
  • Experience in Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Department (ED), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) required
  • NICU and PICU experience preferred
  • PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and Contrast experience required
  • Biopsies and IV starts preferred

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
  • Social Security Card (required for badge)
  • Background Check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, including:
    • Social Security Trace with all aliases
    • National Criminal Search
    • Federal Court and Sex Offender checks
    • Education Verification
    • International searches if applicable
  • Foreign Equivalency Education Evaluation if education obtained outside the U.S.
  • Transcript/Diploma for highest education (if applicable)
  • Fingerprinting (NC SBI Fingerprint Results) required for certain positions (Home Health and Long-Term Care only)
  • Education Verification by a 3rd party for required programs or highest degree earned
  • High School Diploma/GED Verification as applicable
  • Facility-specific photo for badge (strict requirements)
  • Health History Form and related health documents

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical Exam (if applicable)
  • Fit Mask test (annual, specific approved N95 respirators)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine proof required
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 6 months
  • TB Questionnaire within 30 days of start and annually
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
  • Hepatitis B: Titer or declination required
  • Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
  • Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 40 days of start
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

Testing & Competency Exams

  • EPIC Test (as applicable)
  • Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Dysrhythmia) required for RNs (except Behavioral Health & Case Managers)
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
  • Color Blind Testing (as applicable)
  • Competency Exam (as applicable)
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (required for most RNs except Behavioral Health or Case Managers)

Licensure & Verification

  • State License primary source verification within 30 days of start (as applicable)
  • NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP within 60 days of start
  • National Tech Certification verification (ARRT, ARDMS, NBRC, etc.) as applicable

References & Work History

  • 2 supervisory references required for clinical positions (one within 12 months, one within 24 months)
  • Employment Application/Resume with 7-year work history required
  • Verification of all employment within last 5 years required through a 3rd party vendor

Additional Notes

  • Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • Compliance deadlines are strict and must be met prior to start
  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement and Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing required
  • Floating Policy and Contractor Equipment Acknowledgement forms must be reviewed and signed

This position is suitable for healthcare professionals with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology, including a variety of patient populations and clinical settings. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
