Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery

Location: Peterborough, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in an 8-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 during active labor and 1:2/3 for Mother Baby care.
• Provide personalized nursing care supporting a wide range of birthing options, from natural childbirth to full epidural anesthesia, available 24/7.
• Ensure comfort, caring, and medical expertise throughout labor.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery / OB experience (highest required).
• Fetal Monitoring experience is required.
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Certifications (must be current and in hand at time of submission)

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Education

• BSN is highly preferred.

Additional Preferred Certifications

• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification is highly preferred.

Licensure

• Active New Hampshire or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.

Submission Requirements

• Labor & Delivery skills checklist within the past year.
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment.
• License verification.
• Permanent address must be included.
• Return to Office (RTO) availability must be included, preferably limited to 5 days.
• Own transportation and housing arrangements must be secured prior to submission.
• No local travelers accepted (permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility).
