Job Opportunity: RN High Risk Antepartum

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Specialty: High Risk Antepartum Nursing


Job Summary

  • Responsible for an assigned group of patients.
  • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments.
  • Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
  • Obtain and monitor physiological data; intervene as necessary.
  • Administer medications, regulate and monitor IV infusions and blood products.
  • Deliver competent patient care.
  • Communicate care plans with patients and families during hospital stay and discharge.
  • Inform patients and families about hospital procedures.
  • Make referrals regarding patient care needs.
  • Delegate tasks to support staff.

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in the specialty.

Education Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (required).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a board-approved program (preferred).

Required Certifications & Licensure

  • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
