Description

Job Opportunity: RN High Risk Antepartum

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Specialty: High Risk Antepartum Nursing

Job Summary

Responsible for an assigned group of patients.
Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments.
Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
Obtain and monitor physiological data; intervene as necessary.
Administer medications, regulate and monitor IV infusions and blood products.
Deliver competent patient care.
Communicate care plans with patients and families during hospital stay and discharge.
Inform patients and families about hospital procedures.
Make referrals regarding patient care needs.
Delegate tasks to support staff.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in the specialty.

Education Requirements

Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (required).
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a board-approved program (preferred).

Required Certifications & Licensure

Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
