Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Days)

Location: Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Labor & Delivery specialty for a temporary assignment. The role involves working in a hospital recognized for high patient satisfaction and quality care, offering maternity services including labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby care. The facility provides a supportive environment with experienced obstetrical nurses, lactation consultants, and 24/7 anesthesia and delivery services.

Requirements

Experience & Education

• Minimum 2 years of current Labor & Delivery experience (required)
• Post Partum / Mother Baby experience (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (required)
• Higher years of experience take precedence if discrepancies arise

Licenses & Certifications

• Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Active STABLE certification (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, Emotional Support)

Additional Requirements

• Must have a permanent address included with profile
• Must have own vehicle for assignment
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times (no "anytime")
• Requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission; no more than 3 days allowed
• Work history and skills checklists for Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, and Mother Baby (current within 1 year) required
• One supervisory signed reference from the past two years required
