Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Canton, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule: 3 shifts per 12-hour rotating weekends (7:00 pm - 7:30 am)
- Shift Options: Open to 10 or 12 hour shifts
- No call required
- Blocked scheduling including weekends
- Equipment: Working with GE Evo64 slice CT units
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (Radiology / Cardiology)
Required Licenses and Certifications
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- Must obtain Ohio state license prior to start
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA Only (Instructor or Provider); RQI acceptable
- State licensure primary source verification required within 30 days of start
Required Qualifications and Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID) required and must be carried on assignment
- Background check including FCRA compliant 7-year search, education verification, fingerprinting (FBI and BCI) within 12 months, updated annually
- Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signed contract; results required prior to extension
- Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Completion of facility-specific onboarding and safety training modules prior to start (must be completed on a computer using Google Chrome)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming ability to safely perform job functions
- Fit mask test (3M N95 1860 small/regular or 1870+) within 12 months, updated annually
- Immunization requirements:
- Tdap vaccine every 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 6 months of start
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if negative or equivocal
- Hepatitis B titer, series, or declination documented
- Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if negative or equivocal
- Seasonal flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season (10/31 - 03/31)
- 10-panel drug screen required, updated annually (instant drug screens not accepted)
Additional Requirements
- Employment application must include 3 years prior work history with at least 2 years clinical practice in acute care and similar area
- Two professional references within 1 year of start from a manager, supervisor, or director (co-worker references not accepted)
- Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprint attestation required annually
- No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position
