Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
Job Description
- Position: CT Tech
- Assignment length: 13 weeks with possible extension
- Minimal to no Return to Office (RTO) required (must be included on submission)
Required Qualifications
- License: R.T. ARRT certification required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent CT Tech experience required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Recent travel experience preferred (not required)
- EPIC charting experience preferred
Required Certifications
- R.T. ARRT certification (mandatory for CT Tech)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required for most travelers (confirm if applicable)
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start (not required to be updated annually)
- N95 Fit Mask test within 12 months of start (3M N95, specific sizes required)
- Tdap vaccine required (declinations/exemptions NOT accepted)
- Negative TB test (Qgold or Tspot within 3 months of start; PPD not accepted)
- Immunity or vaccination documentation required for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B: Proof of positive titer with numerical values and reference ranges OR declination
- Drug testing: 10 panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) test within 60 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
- Seasonal Flu vaccination mandatory for current season (no exemptions)
Background and Compliance Checks
- Background check required within 30 days of start (7-year criminal check covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
- Education verification or diploma/transcript required (Radiography Certification for CT Tech)
- Proof of I9 and E-Verify or attestation strongly preferred
- Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service
- Security and Confidentiality Agreement must be signed prior to start
Documentation and Other Requirements
- Proof of 2 clinical references required
- Complete application/resume required
- Skills checklist must be updated annually for applicable units
- OSHA, HIPAA & Joint Commission annual training proof required (or signed attestation)
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Pediatric experience is preferred
- EPIC charting experience is preferred
This position is ideal for CT Technologists with pediatric experience looking for a travel contract in a pediatric healthcare setting with a defined schedule and comprehensive credentialing requirements.
