Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Akron, Ohio

Job Description

• Position: CT Tech
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Responsibilities include CT procedures
• 1 call day per month, weekend rotation, and holiday shifts as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients

Compliance & Onboarding Requirements

Background Checks

• Government-issued photo ID required and must be carried on assignment
• Background check prior to start, including FCRA compliant 7-year search
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• FBI and BCI fingerprinting within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Facility will conduct additional fingerprinting onsite

Health & Immunization

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming ability to perform essential job functions
• Fit mask (3M N95) fit test within 12 months, updated annually
• Immunizations required:

  • Tdap (every 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 6 months of start
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer
• Annual flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
• 10-panel drug screen, updated annually (instant drug screens not accepted)

Competencies & Training

• Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome)
• Annual orientation safety manual acknowledgement

Documentation

• Employment application including 3 years prior work history with at least 2 years in acute care and similar specialty
• Two professional references within 1 year of start from a manager, supervisor, or director (co-worker references not accepted)
• State license primary source verification within 30 days of start
• Photo for badge required prior to start

Additional Notes

• Candidates can start with fingerprinting results pending if fingerprinting is completed prior to start
• Travelers with breaks in employment of 2+ months must update background checks
• Modules and onboarding must be completed before clearance to start
• Facility requires strict adherence to immunization and drug screening policies
