Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Acute

Contract Length: 13 weeks (minimum)

Job Description

• Weekly orientations held on Mondays (except holiday weeks).
• Candidates cannot work multiple contracts simultaneously within this system.
• Must have been off permanent staff at CommonSpirit for 12 months to be eligible for travel assignment.
• No facial piercings and only natural hair colors allowed.
• Onboarding documents must be completed by 1pm CST Wednesday before start date; incomplete files will delay start.
• Level 1 trauma experience required.
• Previous travel experience required for ED and Neuro ICU specialties.
• Cerner EMR experience required for ED.
• Travel teams must have their own vehicles.
• Parking is assigned with shuttle service to the facility; night shift parking in garage.
• Facility is a teaching hospital; nurses may be expected to work with nursing students.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of core experience in the specialty being submitted.
• Level 1 trauma and teaching hospital experience required.
• Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance for certain units (including ICU, ER, Cath Lab, etc.). Maximum of 2 attempts allowed; failure results in 6-month disqualification within CommonSpirit AZ and Sacramento Region.
• Prior travel experience required for ED and Neuro ICU specialties.
