Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU (Nights)

Location: Pontiac, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Step-down Unit (SDU) within an Intermediate Intensive Care Unit setting.
• Care for critically ill patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric.
• Manage a variety of patient diagnoses including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical cases.
• Maintain professional nursing standards.
• Supervise CNA/SNA, LPN, or other healthcare workers as assigned.
• Frequent floating to Step-down unit is expected.
• Shift: Nights

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience.
• Valid Michigan RN license verification required.
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required.
• Physical copies of certifications only required if specifically listed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience preferred but not required.

Additional Information

• RN to patient ratio: 1:2 in ICU, 1:4 in Step-down.
• Dress code: Grey scrubs (any shade).
• Immediate start needed.
