Description

Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision. Responsibilities include:

Managing an assigned group of patients
Documenting patient responses and changes in physician orders
Assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures
Monitoring physiological data and intervening as needed
Administering medications, IV infusions, and blood products
Delivering competent patient care
Communicating care plans with patients and families
Making referrals for patient care needs
Delegating tasks to support staff

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Licenses & Certifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year

Additional Information

No prior travel experience required
Preferred education and certifications are not mandatory but beneficial
