Description

Job Opportunity: RN Medical/Surgical

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule & Work Environment

Every other weekend
No on-call required
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Cerner OneChart
Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

Completion of facility-specific core competencies and skills checklists (including HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission topics) with minimum passing scores
Passing Cerner test-out exam with at least 80% score
Completion of onboarding education attestations and pre-hire modules
Drug screening: 12-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
Criminal background check including Social Security trace, OIG search, National Sex Offender registry, and others within 30 days prior to start
Employment and education verifications within 90 days prior to start
Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
Driver’s license or state ID (must be current and match address requirements)
Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background)

Additional Notes

Some optional checklists and evaluations may be requested post-assignment or during onboarding
Documentation of any disciplinary actions requires additional questionnaires
All required documents and verifications must be completed and uploaded as specified prior to assignment start
