Job Description
Seeking a Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for day shifts, Monday through Friday. Must hold all required certifications and licenses relevant to the role.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
- DCI/BVP
- Perioperative experience
Health and Safety Requirements
- Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test (within 60 days of start)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Two doses plus booster or completed declination
- MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive titer showing immunity
- Hepatitis B: Vaccination required (declinations not accepted)
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (declinations not accepted)
- TB Test: Within one year of start date
- Varicella: Vaccination or titer showing immunity
- Tdap: Adult vaccination required (declinations not accepted)
- Physical/Health Statement: Annual clearance to work required
Additional Information
- Annual Respirator Fit Test required prior to start
- Name Verification Affidavit recommended if discrepancies exist between credentials
- Orientation Packet and Job Description must be signed and current within the year
