Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call required

Required Experience

• 1 to 2 years of experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialty (use 2 years as requirement)

Required Licenses & Certifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Must obtain Ohio state license prior to start
• AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only, instructor or provider; RQI acceptable)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
• ARRT (CT) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID) required and must be carried on assignment
• Background check including FCRA compliant 7-year search, education verification, fingerprinting (FBI and BCI), EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG checks required prior to start and updated as specified
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing and updated annually; candidates may start with results pending if fingerprinting is completed prior to start
• Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Completion of facility-specific onboarding and safety training modules prior to start (must be completed on a computer using Google Chrome; cannot be done on a phone)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming ability to safely perform job functions
• Fit mask (N95) fitting within 12 months of start, updated annually (not required for Histology Techs)
• Immunization and health requirements including:

  • Tdap vaccine every 10 years (no religious exemptions accepted)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 6 months of start
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations or positive titers
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or titer
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Annual 10-panel drug screen (instant drug screens not accepted)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season (10/31 - 03/31)

Employment History & References

• Application must include 3 years of prior work history, with at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting in a similar specialty area
• Two professional references within 1 year of start required from a manager, supervisor, charge nurse, or director (co-worker references not accepted)

Additional Notes

• Candidates must comply with all background checks, health screenings, and facility-specific onboarding requirements prior to start
• Fingerprinting results and background checks must be current and updated annually
• Modules and onboarding must be completed prior to clearance to start
• Candidates with breaks in service of 2 or more months may require updated background checks and onboarding
