Description

Registered Nurse - Procedural

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a specialty procedural area. Responsibilities include:

Managing an assigned group of patients
Documenting patient responses and changes in physician orders
Assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
Monitoring physiological data and intervening as needed
Administering medications and managing intravenous infusions and blood products
Delivering competent patient care and communicating care plans to patients and families
Overseeing treatment provided by technicians or other support staff
Making referrals regarding patient care needs
Delegating tasks to support staff

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Experience & Skills

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
Recent experience within the last year in Interventional Radiology Technology
Experience in Neuro IR, Vascular IR, or General IR procedures

Additional Information

No prior travel experience required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher preferred but not required
