Registered Nurse – Step Down
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Job Overview
- Work in a Step Down unit that functions similarly to an ICU with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5.
- Care for 24-hour post-CABG cardiac surgery patients with chest tubes.
- No ventilator management required; experience with LVADs is supported with hospital training.
- Unit is considered an advanced Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia.
- Minimum 1.5 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year.
- ACLS certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Additional Details
- Scrubs color: Navy Blue.
- No local travelers; candidates must be within a 50-mile radius.
- Virtual interview process.
