Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM (may change based on manager needs)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Local Radius Rule: 50 miles (locals not accepted)
• Pending License: Not accepted; must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: Must be included at time of submission

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialty (higher experience required if discrepancy)
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• First-time travelers not accepted unless they have 3+ years in specialty
• Must have a valid national certification for CT Tech (ARRT with CT credentials)
• State license:

  • CT Techs assigned to Tennessee do not require a Tennessee state license, only a national certification
  • CT Techs assigned to other states may require state licensure (not applicable here)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Background Checks:

  • Within 60 days of start, including statewide, county, federal, and education verification
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and annually thereafter
  • Sex Offender Search and Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry (TN only)
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or ARC accepted
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC accepted
• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet job demands
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
  • Immunizations: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (proof of vaccines or positive antibody titers with boosters if needed)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or positive titer or signed declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (mask required if exempt)
  • Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending compliance allowed)
  • Fit test for 3M N-95 masks within 1 year of start (must pass without limitations)
• Competency Exams: Must be current within 1 year and updated annually
• Photo for Badge: Recent (within 6 months), clear, front-facing photo with no hats/headphones/glasses glare, no facial piercings

Additional Requirements

• Two recent professional references required
• Skills checklist and internal evaluations as applicable
• Dress code:

  • CT Techs: Ceil blue top and pants, optional white lab coat or matching scrub jacket
  • No prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
• Must sign confidentiality acknowledgment prior to start

Notes

• Weekend shifts may be required as needed
• Locals within 50 miles are not accepted for this travel contract
• All travelers must be fully compliant with licensure and documentation requirements before start
• First-time travelers must have 3+ years of specialty experience to be considered
