Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Vero Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Rotating 2-week schedule:

  • Week 1: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
  • Week 2: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
• 1 shift of call per pay period (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year CT Tech experience (highest requirement)
• Experience with Siemens Somatom Definition AS scanner required
• Must be proficient working with Siemens scanners: Definition AS+, Somatom FORCE, and X.Cite 128

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal history check within one year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
  • Education verification (primary source)
• Competency exam as applicable to specialty
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually (with provisions for past positives)
• Required vaccinations or proof of immunity:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Seasonal Influenza vaccine (required during flu season; medical/religious exemptions allowed)
  • COVID-19 vaccination: 2 doses Pfizer or Moderna OR 1 dose Johnson & Johnson (no declinations allowed; exemptions require approved documentation)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (no annual update required)
• References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
• Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually)
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint results as per state requirements

Additional Notes

• Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
• Facility-specific online training modules must be completed prior to start; these include COVID documentation and cannot be completed on a phone
• Radiation badges will be issued by the facility as applicable
• ACLS certification is required only for Cath Lab Techs (not required for this CT Tech role)
