Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Wadsworth, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Job Description

• Operate computerized tomography (CT) and radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic CT scans and radiographs under indirect supervision.
• Ensure timely processing of patient records and procedure results.
• Evaluate images with radiologists and take additional images as needed.
• Assist with invasive procedures as required.
• Perform other duties as training and skills allow.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Radiology Technologist experience

Required Onboarding & Compliance

• Fit Test for N95 respirators (3M 1870+ or equivalent), updated annually.
• Pre-employment physical demonstrating ability to perform essential job functions safely.
• Unit-specific competency exams and skills checklists, updated annually.
• Core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, and OSHA topics, updated annually.
• Health screenings and immunizations including:

  • MMR (titer or 2 adult vaccines)
  • Hepatitis B (titer or complete vaccine series)
  • Influenza vaccine (required October-April)
  • 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing
  • Varicella (titer or 2 adult vaccines)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start, updated annually.
• Criminal background check compliant with FCRA standards, including multiple searches, run within 90 days of start.
• OIG, EPLS, and other federal exclusion screenings within 90 days of start.
• Third-party education verification.
• Social Security card or equivalent documentation.

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

• This role requires working in an acute care setting with direct patient contact.
