Description

Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Jackson, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Communicates pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals to ensure implementation of solutions.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
