Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Vero Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work hours: 3 PM to 3 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal check updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
  • Education verification (primary source)
• Competency exam as applicable to profession/specialty
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual updates required)
• Required vaccinations or proof of immunity:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions apply for candidates born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox)
  • Seasonal flu vaccine required during flu season (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
  • COVID-19 vaccination: 2 doses Pfizer or Moderna OR 1 dose Johnson & Johnson required; no declinations allowed; boosters not required at this time; medical/religious exemptions require agency approval and specific exemption form
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (no annual update required)
• References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel allied positions
• Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually)
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint results as per state requirements

Additional Notes

• Facility-specific onboarding includes mandatory online training modules that must be completed prior to start. These modules require use of a computer and Google Chrome browser.
• Candidates with prior employment gaps at the facility may need to retake onboarding modules.
• Radiation badges will be issued by the facility as applicable.
