Description

Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 16


Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain processes, answer questions, and provide physical support.
  • Position patients and imaging equipment to capture high-quality images (X-rays, mammograms, CT scans).
  • Apply, monitor, and maintain radiation safety regulations and shielding to minimize exposure.
  • Review images for technical quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to determine necessary imaging procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Relevant certifications for radiologic technology are required (applicants without active copies may still be considered).
  • Valid Radiologic Technologist license appropriate for the specialty.

Additional Information

  • No special scheduling requirements.
  • Orientation for allied travelers starts on Tuesdays.
  • Local candidates (within 50 miles) may be considered at a reduced rate.
  • On-call pay applies with a minimum of 1 hour.
  • No increased pay rates for overtime, holidays, or call-back hours.
  • Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
