Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Location: Riverdale, Georgia
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Summary

• Provide safe, direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Responsible and accountable for patient care and communication with physicians regarding clinical changes and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes or treatment responses.
• Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and mandatory reporting of abuse.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with ED experience within the last year.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Bloodborne Pathogens (BVP) training.
• Workplace violence prevention training (MAB).
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
