Description

Job Opportunity: Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT)

Location: Colton, California
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts, Thursday through Sunday (subject to change based on vacation/sick days)
  • On-call required: 3-5 shifts per month

Job Description

  • Operate two CT units including a 64-Slice CT scanner with bariatric table (capacity up to 660 pounds) and 3D imaging stations for coronary screenings.
  • Work in a department accredited by the American College of Radiology in multiple imaging modalities.
  • Equipment used includes Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilion One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in California
  • Minimum 1.5 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting
  • Venipuncture Certificate
  • ARRT (CT) Certification
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Additional Information

  • The facility is a university-affiliated teaching hospital with a Level I Trauma Center, regional burn center, comprehensive stroke center, and a busy Emergency Department.
  • The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient specialty services.
  • On-call pay applies for 3-5 shifts per month.
  • Timekeeping is managed via Kronos Reverse Invoicing.
