Job Details

• Specialty: Cath Lab Tech - RCIS
• Location: Lakewood, Colorado
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts
• Call Requirements:

  • Weeknight call: 1-2 times per week
  • Weekend call: 2 times per 6-week pay cycle
  • Holiday call: Yes
  • Call response time: 30 minutes
• Floating: Yes, within the department; may float to nearby zones only in extreme need
• Orientation: Unit/department specific orientation required (7 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling allowed

Unit Information

• 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid lab
• Average cases per day: 10-20
• Common patient diagnoses: STEMI, Cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, Atrial fibrillation/flutter
• EMR system: EPIC

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• If ARRT (R) is not held, must obtain Colorado Fluoroscopy license (approximately 1 week to obtain)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Certification as ARRT (R) or RCIS
• Experience as an Electrophysiology Technician

Additional Information

• Must be available in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote)
• Driving license must be submitted
• Call coverage includes nights, weekends, and holidays
• Scrub color/dress code required
