Job Details

- Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
- Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma Hospital with 3 CT scanners (1 GE, 2 Siemens)
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Indiana
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Health and Safety Requirements
- Proof of immunizations or immunity for:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) – two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted.
- Varicella – two vaccines, serological immunity, or documented history; no declinations accepted.
- Tdap – valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted.
- Hepatitis B – vaccination series completion or signed declination.
- Influenza vaccine is optional; if declined during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31), mask wearing is required.
- Tuberculosis screening:
- 2-step PPD or Negative IGRA within specified timeframes.
- If positive, must provide negative chest X-ray within one year and complete annual TB questionnaire.
- Fit testing for respiratory protection required annually; preferred before start but can be completed onsite.
- Health statement or physical exam confirming good health required prior to first assignment and updated annually.
- 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter; retesting required if break in service exceeds 90 days.
Onboarding and Documentation Requirements
- Submission of professional resume/profile and at least two professional references prior to assignment.
- Driver’s license or state ID must be current, show front and back, and address must comply with licensing rules.
- Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, and specialty-specific skills checklist within one year and updated annually.
- Criminal background check including Social Security trace, OIG search, and national sex offender registry within 30 days prior to start; updated annually or after breaks in service over 90 days.
- Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start; must be updated after breaks in service over 90 days.
- Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead required upon onboarding and for each extension.
- Badge photo with white or blue background required for onboarding.
- Completion of onboarding education attestation (6 hours) with traveler’s signature required.
- Employment verification covering the past seven years required; updated annually or after breaks in service over 90 days.
Additional Notes
- The Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form is completed onsite and does not need to be uploaded prior to start.
- Post-assignment hiring manager evaluation and legal name change documentation are optional.
This position is ideal for CT Technologists seeking a night shift role in a high-acuity trauma hospital setting with a 13-week contract duration. Compliance with detailed credentialing, health, and onboarding requirements is mandatory.
