Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Job Summary
- Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans; record and communicate patient condition appropriately.
- Coordinate care among all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
- Must follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.
- Required to work up to 6 weekend shifts and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Submission of professional resume/profile and at least two professional references prior to assignment.
- Completion of criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and other required screenings within 30 days prior to start.
- Completion of education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start.
- Employment verification for the past seven years.
- Completion of onboarding modules and attestations including:
- Nursing contingent worker onboarding.
- Pharmacology exam.
- Cerner test-out and training checklist.
- Core competencies and skills checklist updated annually.
- Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations).
- Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment documentation.
