Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 5 years of Level I L&D experience, 2 years of travel nursing experience, and multiple advanced certifications including NRP Advanced Provider or Instructor.

- Hospital Labor & Delivery unit setting
- Night shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
- 13-week travel contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (OK state license or eNLC compact license) required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required; 5 years of Level I L&D experience strongly preferred
- At least 2 years of travel nursing experience required
- Level I trauma experience required
- Required certifications (American Heart Association only): BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor
- Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, including monitoring physiological data and intervening when necessary
- Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
- Assists physicians with patient examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatment
- Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products
- Collaborates with patients and families regarding care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge planning
- Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff
- Prior travelers who have completed a contract at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new contract
- Compliance onboarding (background checks, drug screens, medical requirements) must be completed promptly — start dates will not be negotiated after booking
- All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association
