Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery
Location: San Dimas, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: Day (06:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Setting: Peri-operative / Operating Room (OR)
Job Summary
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
- Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
- Direct and guide OR technicians and other personnel.
- Maintain professional nursing standards and ensure efficient patient flow.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services.
- Act as a resource for other personnel.
- Must be able to take call.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California.
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year.
- Perioperative experience.
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Completion of DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention training).
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
