Description

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Night Shift)

Location: Kokomo, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Unit Overview

  • Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) Unit
  • 8 labor rooms, 12 postpartum rooms
  • 4-bed special care nursery
  • OB Operating Room suite on unit
  • Level 2 OB unit and Level 2 special care nursery
  • Team includes 4 delivering physicians and 2 certified nurse midwives (CNMs)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Indiana
  • Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
  • Postpartum experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
