Description

Job Opportunity: Technologist (Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray)

Location: Petoskey, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Perform a variety of imaging procedures at a technical level under general supervision. Responsibilities include:

  • Operating and maintaining imaging equipment, primarily X-ray machines.
  • Positioning patients and capturing images as ordered by physicians.
  • Providing clear explanations and instructions to patients to ensure comfort and meet individual needs.
  • Accurately performing imaging exams in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
  • Notifying the physician on duty of exam results.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with X-ray imaging.
  • Prior travel experience is required.
  • Valid Michigan Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Ability to work night shifts with 12-hour shifts.
  • Must adhere to dress code: matching scrubs.

Additional Information

  • A skills checklist completed within one year is preferred but not required for this role.
  • Physical copies of certifications are only required if specifically listed.
  • Candidates residing within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers.
  • Nonbillable initial hours and specific overtime/holiday policies apply (details available upon request).

This position offers the opportunity to work in a regional hospital serving a broad area with a focus on comprehensive care including cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, and neurosciences.
