Description

CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Lincoln, Nebraska

Job Details

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Days
  • Hours per Week: 36 (typically 3-4 twelve-hour shifts per week)
  • Call Requirement: Rotational call, approximately 1 every 4 weekends plus weekday call; 2 nights of call expected
  • Orientation: 1-2 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation
  • Work Areas: CT, X-Ray, OR, Endoscopy, Emergency Department
  • Imaging Equipment: GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners required; department also uses MRI, X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, and Mammography equipment
  • EMR/PACS Systems: EPIC (EMR), McKesson (PACS)
  • Scheduling: Supervisor-made schedule; varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Additional Notes: Flexibility, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and work are important for success

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Nebraska
  • CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT (CT) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Additional Information

  • Response Time for Call: Varied
  • Travel/Location Restrictions: Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility and meet employment restrictions related to specific healthcare systems
  • Return to Office (RTO): Required within 7 days or less from contract start; no additional RTO extensions allowed

This position is ideal for CT Technologists seeking a 13-week travel assignment with varied imaging responsibilities and rotational call duties in a hospital setting.
