Registered Nurse - Step Down / Progressive Care
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Hours per Week: 48
Job Description
- Work in a medical step-down unit with 16-20 beds
- Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
- Patient conditions include: Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, Encephalopathy
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Notes
- This is a night shift position with a 48-hour workweek
- Experience in progressive care or intermediate care units preferred
